গত ৪ আগস্ট মিরপুরে আন্দোলনে অংশ নিয়েছিলেন তিনি। একপর্যায়ে মিরপুর ২ নম্বর এলাকায় হঠাৎ পুলিশের একটি গুলি তার মাথার পেছনে লাগে। মাথা ভেদ করে বুলেটটি তার চোখের পেছনে আটকে যায়।গুরুতর আহত অবস্থায় তাকে সিএমএইচ হাসপাতালের নেয়া হয়।বুধবার (১৪ আগস্ট) দুপুর ২টা ১৫ মিনিটের দিকে সম্মিলিত সামরিক হাসপাতালের (সিএমএইচ) আইসিইউতেতার মৃত্যু হয়। এক সপ্তাহেরও বেশি সময় ধরে চিকিৎসাধীন ছিল সে।

He took part in the movement in Mirpur on August 4. At one stage, a police bullet hit him in the back of his head in Mirpur-2 area. The bullet pierced his head and stuck behind his eye. He was taken to CMH in critical condition. He died at the ICU of the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) around 2:15 pm on Wednesday. He was under treatment for more than a week.
